About Attendance

• Please bring a towel and water bottle.
• Wear comfortable exercise clothing and socks. Socks are important as shoes are not worn for Pilates.
• Before starting your first session, you will need to complete a personal waiver agreement (online or in person).
• Please arrive 15 minutes early to your first session or class so you have time to sign-in and get acquainted with the facilities.
• For all other classes, please check-in 5 minutes prior to start time.
• Late arrivals – Out of consideration for the teacher and other clients, please don’t be late. If you are more than 5 minutes late for a class, your spot may be given to another.
• We reserve the right to refuse or restrict participant attendance.

Age Requirements

• The minimum age requirement to attend classes is 16 years.
• Specially tailored programs and classes for 12-16 year olds must be approved and accompanied by an adult guardian.

About Fees & Pricing

• We reserve the right to change fees at our discretion.
• All our prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST (Goods and Services Tax). Please note that Physiotherapy sessions do not incur GST (Goods and Services Tax). All transactions are processed in AUD.

About Group Classes

• Group Class sizes are limited to a maximum of 12 places to ensure you receive the best quality instruction and personal attention. Therefore bookings are essential and can be made online: https://polestarpilates.com.au/pilates-classes
• All classes and sessions are 55 minutes in duration.

• All equipment including mats is provided.
• We need a minimum of two people for a class to proceed. We will notify you via email or call you 2 hours before the scheduled start time if a class is cancelled.

Validity of Class Packages

• Single class – 30 days
• 10 pack – 6 months
• 15 pack – 6 months
• 25 pack – 6 months

Memberships

• Membership categories:
  • Shining Star: 2 classes per week
  • Shooting Star: 3 classes per week
  • Rock Star: unlimited classes per week
• Minimum membership commitment is for 3 months (6 payments).
• Your weekly classes are credited to your account and your membership fees are automatically debited from your nominated bank or credit account fortnightly.
• A failed auto payment will incur a $5 admin charge per failed payment.
• You can cancel your auto payment at any time without notice. But please note that if the fortnightly payment has gone through for that 2 week period, we cannot refund any unused amount.

Studio Session Packs

• New clients are required to start with at least 3 Private (1:1) sessions in order to assess your needs and abilities, and program your individual workout. When your instructor is satisfied with your progress, you can then progress to Semi-Private (3:1) sessions.
• All 5 and 10 Pack Studio Sessions are valid for 3 months from the date of your first session.
• Session Packs cannot be extended except in the case of illness or injury; in which case we will ask you to supply a medical certificate. Extensions due to medical reasons must be requested before your session pack expires.
• All session packs are not transferable to another person.
• No extensions on 1 month, 3 month or 6 month packages.

Infra-Red Sauna Packs

• Infra-Red Sauna packs are sold as either individual or double sessions.
• All 5 or 10 Pack Sauna Sessions are valid for 3 months from the first session date.
• Session Packs cannot be extended except in the case of illness or injury; in which case we will ask you to supply a medical certificate. Extensions due to medical reasons must be requested before your session pack expires.
• All session packs are not refundable or transferable to another person.

Introductory Offer on Classes

• Our Introductory Offer of 3 group classes and 1 infrared sauna for 2 weeks is only available to new clients of Polestar Pilates.
• You can only purchase the Introductory Offer once.
• The Introductory Offer is non-refundable nor transferable and will activate from the date of your first class booking.

 Introductory Offer on Sauna

• Our Introductory Offer of 3 sessions for 1 month is available to new and existing clients of Polestar Pilates. You can only purchase the Introductory offer once. The Introductory Offer is non-refundable nor transferable and will activate from the date of your first class booking.

Payment Terms

• All Pilates classes and Studio sessions must be pre booked and prepaid. Before booking a class, you first need to purchase the session pack or membership of your choice: https://polestarpilates.com.au/pricing/
• All Physiotherapy sessions can be booked by phone and must be paid on the day of treatment.
• Bookings can be made and paid for online. Ask reception to help if you are not sure how to use the system.
• We only accept Visa or Mastercard debit or credit.

Cancellations & Refunds

We understand that sometimes, the unforeseeable can happen, but we have to be fair and consistent. This policy is in place to ensure everyone has a chance to attend, therefore no exceptions will be made.

• Cancellations are the responsibility of the person booking the class or session.
• For Group Classes:
  • We require a minimum of 12 hours notice if you can not attend a booked class. If you don’t cancel in time or don’t show up, you will forfeit that session.
• For Studio & Physio Sessions:
  • We require a minimum of 24 hours notice if you can not attend a booked session. If you don’t cancel in time or don’t show up, you will forfeit that session.
• If you need to cancel a class, please login our MindBody app and cancel with the same steps you used to book. Alternatively you can call us on 02 9091 9400 or email studio@polestarpilates.com.au

• We do not give refunds for changing your mind.
• All classes and sessions are non-transferable and non-refundable.
• In the event of illness, the expiration date of certain packs may be extended upon presenting a medical certificate. Extensions are decided on a case-by-case basis.

Acceptance

By submitting your payment details and booking a class, you accept our Terms and consent to us using your payment and contact details in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Personal Agreement & Waiver

I agree that Polestar Pilates Pty Ltd is in no way responsible for the safekeeping of my personal belongings whilst attending a group class or a studio session. I understand that I undertake this exercise program and use all the facilities and equipment at Polestar Pilates at my own risk.

Prior to exercising I must disclose any health conditions and have obtained clearance from my general practitioner with regards to such conditions. I take it upon myself to discuss any changes to my health with my Pilates instructor. I recognise that the instructor is not able to provide me with medical advice with regard to my medical fitness and that the information provided is used as a guideline to the limitations of my ability to exercise. I understand that classes may be physically strenuous and I voluntarily participate in them with full knowledge that there is risk of personal injury, property loss or death.

I agree that neither I, nor anyone representing me, will sue or make claims against Polestar Pilates, or any of the instructors for any personal injury, property damage/loss or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

Privacy Policy

Polestar Pilates respects your right to privacy and is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our customers and website visitors. We adhere to the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Our Privacy Policy sets out how we collect and treat your personal information. Any information we collect in relation to you, is kept strictly secured. We do not pass on/sell/swap any of your personal details with anyone.
