Pilates Mat classes focus on a sequence of Pilates exercises done on the floor on a cushioned Mat, so there is no impact, using the body weight as resistance. These classes are designed to introduce you to the Pilates method foundations, the breath and neutral spine positions. Helping you to elongate the body, creating balance and strength with just you and gravity. We also add additional small apparatus, including foam rollers, therabands, chi-ball, magic circles, free-form boards and OOV’s. These help to challenge the body and add resistance to stretch and enhance the movements.
