Angela Rickard

Angela has over 25 years’ experience as a soft tissue therapist, specialising in elite sport across both team and individual athletes. She is currently the Team Soft Tissue Therapist for the Manly Sea Eagles, a role she has held for the past six years.

Angela spent 12 years in the UK working with the Welsh National Rugby Team. During this time, she was part of the performance staff for the 2007, 2011, 2015 and 2019 Rugby World Cups, as well as the Six Nations Grand Slam victories in 2008, 2012 and 2019. She was also selected as part of the performance team for the British & Irish Lions tour to New Zealand in 2017.

Alongside her rugby commitments, Angela worked extensively with British Cycling, contributing to the London 2012 Olympic Games and two Commonwealth Games (Delhi 2010 and Gold Coast 2018).

For the past five years, Angela has also worked as a Clinical Pilates Instructor, integrating rehabilitation and performance-based movement with elite cyclists and Manly Sea Eagles athletes.
