Daniel Gschwind is an overseas trained physiotherapist from Germany with over 8 years of experience in private practice and orthopaedic rehabilitation.
After completing his physiotherapy degree in 2011, Daniel gained additional knowledge for the profession by completing a Bachelor’s degree in “Health and Management” for Health Care Professionals in 2015 and achieved international accreditation in Australia in 2018.
Prior to that, he worked long term in an orthopaedic rehabilitation centre in Germany, where he was working in an interdisciplinary team with various health professionals, specialising in hip, knee, spine and shoulder injuries and operations. His treatment philosophy is based on the individual needs of patients focusing on a manual hands-on approach, offering a range of effective soft tissue techniques, joint mobilisations and specific exercise prescriptions.
Playing competitive soccer in Germany as a teenager, he received physiotherapy on a regular basis, where he has gained a great understanding of the role of sport specific exercise and stretching in both treating and preventing injuries.
When not working, Daniel combines his passion for photography, travelling and being outdoors, while spending time with his young family.
