Jessica Dalziel
Physio & Pilates Instructor
Jessica Dalziel is a physiotherapist specialising in Pilates and Functional Movement, with over twenty-five years of experience in the field. She is the founder of Pure Form Pilates & Functional Movement Avalon, a boutique studio on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, where she has built a reputation for excellence in instruction and client care.
With extensive knowledge spanning rehabilitation, pre- and post-natal health, pelvic floor rehabilitation, sport-specific training, posture correction, and neurological conditions, Jess works with clients across a broad spectrum – from complete beginners to elite athletes. Her approach is personalised and adaptive, tailoring each functional movement workout to how her clients are feeling and what they need on any given day, whether they’re looking to rehabilitate, mobilise, or work up a sweat.
Outside of teaching, Jess is passionate about strength training and HIIT workouts for her own wellbeing. Drawing on current research highlighting the importance of strength training, she loves to incorporate these elements into the Pilates workouts she teaches, creating a comprehensive approach to functional movement and long-term strength.
Jess holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy, a Diploma in Pilates Instruction from Pilates International, and the Polestar Pilates Comprehensive Studio Qualification in Rehabilitation. She is also a Neurolinguistic Programming Master Practitioner.
Jess is delighted to be returning to Polestar Pilates Brookvale, where she taught for many years early in her career, now re-joining the team after raising three children who are all in high school.
